Firstly, it is really important to have a passion for which you want to wake up early every day.
Yes! For me, I have my activities planned a day ahead. This gives the kick to get started as soon as you wake up.
No, I haven’t been this passionate all my life. This happened to me recently.
When you have a passion to work on, it doesn’t let you snooze your alarm. However, practically, we all are on different pages in life.
Here are five things I do to wake up early!
1. Exercise/work out in the evenings!
This helps me a lot induce sleep as soon as I lay on the bed.
2. Drink a lot of water before you sleep.
This mostly gives you are an urgent reflex to empty your bladder at early hours, especially the time you plan to wake up. Forgive me if this didn’t work for you. If you haven’t, try it!
3. Make a conscious decision to wake up at a specific time.
This conscious decision helps me wake up at 4 AM without any alarm. Tell yourself, “I will wake up by 4 AM”, and go to sleep.
4. Don’t eat complex food before you go to bed.
This includes your dinner. The more fatty and complicated food you eat, it takes more time to break down, and digest.
This gives your body fatigue and doesn’t let you wake up easily.
5. Make sure to maintain a sleep cycle.
Do not sleep at different times every day. For example, I sleep by 10 PM, not beyond it. Similarly, it is advisable to fix a sleep pattern.
This may not make sense now, but as you grow older, these disturbing sleep patterns can harm you permanently.
6. Applicable only to ones who can do it,
Do not sleep in an air-conditioned room.
I know it’s hard. Don’t worry, you can wake up early even if you sleep in one. #justasuggestion
